A Better School Initiative

IFCED, with your contributions, betters the conditions of schools for children to get a better education.

Who would want to learn in a school with chipped painted walls or worse, unpainted with no desks or chairs and no boards? However, the sad truth is that the millions of children from around the world has to be educated in such places. Even worse is that they are the lucky ones for even having a school to go to in their villages. IFCED, with your contributions, betters the conditions of schools for children to get a better education. We get doors and windows fixed, walls painted and make certain that desks, tables and blackboards are supplied. IFCED also drills wells in school yards as part of our Clean Water Initiative to quench children’s thirst. Therefore, we ensure hygienic practices in schools and that children get free access to clean water.

IFCED is not on the field but rather manages these initiatives and other projects such as this through local foundations which we have official agreements with. The financing of the project is done by your contributions to IFCED. We, as the IFCED, are the face and manager of the project.

The reparations are done by local professionals per their fees. This way IFCED also gets to provide employment even though it’s short term for the local community.
