Food Aid

We send Food Packs to children with impoverished families and to orphans and their foster families.

The world resources are getting scarcer everyday. This is especially true for food and most especially in underdeveloped countries with fast and unsystematic population growth that are going through major changes in consumption patterns, climate change and unplanned agriculture.

Research paints a tragic picture. 25 thousand people die every day due to starvation. It’s no surprise that most of this number is made up of children. Once again in underdeveloped countries, 22% of children under 5 suffer from failure to thrive due to hunger and poor nutrition.

The Covid-19 pandemic affected almost every family negatively. This, as is custom, had the worst effects on children. We, as IFCED, make it our business to always stand with the children. That’s why we send Food Packs to children with impoverished families and to orphans and their foster families. The Food Packs contains everything needed to make sure children’s bellies are filled with hot food. When the children are happy, the world is happy.
